1、 Overview of saponification kettle
The lubricating grease production equipment mainly includes saponification reaction kettle, blending kettle, rapid cooling mixer, shear, homogenizer, degassing tank, vacuum pump, filter, thermal oil furnace, conveying pump, pipeline valve, etc. Therefore, saponification kettle and blending kettle are indispensable equipment in the production of lubricating grease. The saponification kettle is used to complete the saponification reaction in the preparation process of lubricating grease, and can also be used in many processes in industries such as petroleum, chemical, and pharmaceutical, such as soap saponification reaction. 2、 Structural characteristics of saponification kettle
Due to the high viscosity of lubricating grease, the saponification kettle adopts planetary special stirring or planetary spiral belt stirring, gear transmission, scraper, jacket circulating heat transfer oil heating, or electric heating. Two gauges for pressure measurement, dual mirrors, dual point temperature measurement, compact structure, easy assembly, testing, use, maintenance, etc. Stirring can be self propagating, revolving, and equipped with wall scraping to prevent material from hanging on the wall, ensuring thorough and complete reaction. The stirring frame is also equipped with wear-resistant and elastic edge scrapers to effectively remove materials adhering to the kettle wall and bottom, improving heat transfer efficiency. The saponification reaction is generally a high-pressure reaction, so there is pressure inside the tank and jacket. The pressure inside the tank is generally 0.1~0.65Mpa, and the pressure inside the jacket is 0.2~0.7Mpa. Due to the high heating temperature, thermal oil is generally used inside the jacket for heating, which is efficient, high-temperature, energy-saving, environmentally friendly, and safe. Due to the pressure inside the tank, a professional mechanical seal for the kettle is selected as the mechanical seal, which is pressure resistant, has good sealing performance, and is safe and leak free. The pressure saponification kettle is designed and manufactured according to the pressure vessel, with a standard head structure at the top and bottom. There are also non-standard atmospheric pressure saponification kettles, which generally use a flat head at the top and a standard elliptical head at the bottom. The material of the saponification kettle can be selected according to the needs, and carbon steel or stainless steel can be used. Design points: Both the tank wall and bottom are equipped with PTFE edge scrapers to reduce residue inside the tank. Special exhaust outlet, three-layer tank body, wrapped with stainless steel 304 insulation, insulation medium: rock wool, electrically conductive hot oil heating Stainless steel is hygienic and clean, but its price is relatively high. Carbon steel is economical and practical, but its appearance is not as good as stainless steel. Other configurations are the same as commonly used reaction vessels, with pipe openings configured as needed, and measuring and control devices also configured as needed.
